RFO: This outage was related to a similar event that occurred on May 23rd. Both the primary and secondary routers failed, following a large amount of invalid traffic that flooded the network. A new hardware platform that will prevent a reoccurrence of this issue was installed during the June 2nd maintenance. We do apologize for any inconvenience.
4:25pm (EDT): The network issue has been resolved. We're still waiting for an official RFO from our Dallas facility.
12:39pm (EDT): The network appears to be back. We're continuing to monitor and are still in contact with the Dallas NOC.
12:28pm (EDT): Dallas network engineers continue to troubleshoot. We'll provide another update as soon as we have more information.
11:49am (EDT): The Dallas network operations team has confirmed a network outage and has all hands on deck investigating the issue.
11:30am (EDT): We are looking into a network issue in the Dallas facility. There is no reason to issue reboots as Linodes are still up at this time.
