We’ve identified the source of intermittent packet loss in Newark as the result of a bug which affects a redundant set of switches that serves a pod. This bug manifests in sporadic packet loss under certain conditions. We are working with our vendor and planning an emergency network maintenance in an effort to remediate the effects of this bug. We will post details on the upcoming network maintenance in a separate post.
