On November 28, 2024, between 13:00 UTC and 14:30 UTC, we encountered an issue with connectivity in our ID-CGK (Jakarta) data center. During the period of impact, customers experienced intermittent connection timeouts and errors for all services deployed in this data center.
The resulting investigation revealed that the performance degradation was due to resource exhaustion in the data center.
Once the cause was identified, we began adding capacity at 16:30 UTC. After an improvement was seen with this initial action, we added further capacity at approximately 20:00 UTC. After a period of monitoring, we confirmed that the issue was mitigated.
