While conducting this scheduled maintenance, our Dallas data center experienced a brief loss of network connectivity. Our Network Operations team was able to restore connectivity shortly after the incident began. Maintenance has continued and no further connectivity issues are expected. On Friday, October 27th, 2017 at approximately 04:00 UTC, Linode will be conducting a network maintenance in our Dallas data center. During this maintenance, engineers will be adding additional capacity to routers that provide Linodes access to the internet.
Due to the redundant nature of these systems, we do not expect an impact to customer traffic or downtime during the hardware upgrade process. As with any network maintenance, the possibility exists of some latency and/or packet loss during the window. With this packet loss you may also experience issues with our Manager and API during the maintenance. The duration of this maintenance is two hours.
