We will be performing network maintenance in our Atlanta datacenter on Thursday, September 22 at 04:00 UTC. This maintenance will put into effect all three phases of our network upgrade plan we discussed in our blog post here: https://blog.linode.com/2016/01/29/christmas-ddos-retrospective/ - we'll be transitioning to bigger and better routers, turning up our dark fiber, and adding multiple tier one transit providers over that dark fiber. Due to the nature of this maintenance, there will be expected downtime lasting for a duration of anywhere between 5-15 minutes during the maintenance window.
