On October 23, 2025 at approximately 00:09 UTC, some subpages of the Linode.com website started returning 500/502 errors. As a result, customers were unable to submit forms for specific areas of the www.linode.com website.
Below is the list of those affected areas:
- Legal Abuse Form
- Legal LERA Form
- Legal DSA Form
- Support Contact Forms
The investigation revealed that this issue started manifesting after a DNS change was performed earlier that day. The earlier DNS change was reverted as of 01:39 UTC on October 23, 2025 which resolved the issue.
This summary provides an overview of our current understanding of the incident given the information available. Our investigation is ongoing and any information herein is subject to change.
Resolved
At this time we have been able to correct the issue affecting the subpages of the Linode.com website. We haven't observed any additional issues, and will now consider this incident resolved.
