At approximately 15:14 UTC on March 5th, 2025, customers began reporting intermittent connection timeouts and errors for all services deployed in our Santiago data center. After initial investigations, these issues were linked to a scheduled maintenance taking place in this location. During this necessary event, two machines essential to the workload in this region unexpectedly started experiencing connectivity issues.
We restored the connectivity of these servers at 17:25 UTC, which mitigated the immediate impact of this situation. After monitoring our systems for some time, we confirmed that the issue was resolved.
